About Mocha Yemeni
Workhorse coffees of reliably good quality sourced from traders in Sana’a in the form of dried coffee cherries and naturally dry-processed. These coffees are a blend of different types and grades of coffees and have limited traceability but a classic Yemen profile.
Tasting Notes: Brown sugar, coconut, and grapes; mellow and sweet with fruit acidity and a textured mouthfeel.
About Haraaz FairValue Deluxe (Was previously called Premium Blend. Same great coffee, just new name.)
Coffee is traceable to the Sharqi Haraaz sub-region and is a premium blend with dried and ripe, red coffee cherries sourced directly from farmers in accordance with Al-Ezzi’s – ‘FairValue Coffee Purchasing System’ and dried in specially designed pyramid solar driers under ideal conditions. It is naturally organic, grown traditionally on stone-sloped terraced mountains 2,500 MASL, hand-picked, and naturally dry-processed in a mill in Sana’a. Ideal conditions make for a dense, aromatic, and flavorful bean.
Tasting Notes: Complex, fruit mixed with floral notes, with hints of brown sugar, hazelnut, and cane juice. Sweet with balanced, vibrant acidity and a heavy mouthfeel.
